Love the food! Best vegan Mexican food in LA! Everything we've had so far has been amazing. We've ordered in and it was just as good as dining in the beautiful restaurant. Definitely sit outside, and enjoy the outdoor decor and ambience.

What an incredible experience every single dish we ordered was phenomenal. Five out of five on every dish we ordered our server was Jeff and he was so kind and very informative about the menu and we stuck with his recommendations so happy we did every single issues amazing so delicious so flavorful such good quality ingredients cannot wait to come again, and please do not skip the dessert You’ll think this later.!!

VEGAN restaurant - great experience and wide menu’s offers!! We came for dinner, I was surprised about the mix with the Mexican flavours (in a positive way!). All the dishes we tried were delicious, the Burrito was huge, and the desserts were spectacular, I suggest the Tiramisu and the 3 leche cake The outdoor space has a great vibe! If you book, I would suggest to take a table there as the garden is a bit quieter and vibey! Our server, Ibrahim, was very attentive, friendly and smiley (:

Gracias Madre is one of those rare places where the vibe, the mission, and the menu are all working in sync. First off, the setting is beautiful—lush courtyard with string lights and enough greenery to feel like you’ve been transported to a calm little garden oasis in the middle of West Hollywood. It’s stylish but not trying too hard. Plenty of places in LA feel curated for Instagram—this one feels curated for an actual experience. The all-vegan Mexican menu doesn’t miss. Even if you’re not plant-based, you won’t feel like you’re compromising. The coconut ceviche is unexpectedly addictive—bright, citrusy, with that perfect little bite. Their version of enchiladas is rich, complex, and deeply satisfying, and the tamales are pure comfort. What they do with cashew crema and housemade tortillas is basically a form of culinary witchcraft. Cocktails are top-notch too—thoughtful, balanced, not overly sweet. The margarita with house-infused tequila is a must, but the seasonal mezcal cocktails are where they really shine. Service is consistently warm and attentive without being overbearing. And while the place is always buzzing, it never feels chaotic. You leave feeling nourished—in every sense. Whether you’re a full-time vegan or just someone who appreciates thoughtful food, Gracias Madre absolutely earns its spot as an LA classic.

As a vegan restaurant, this is one of the finest in the area within a 10-mile radius. The food was flavorful and well-prepared, though I would love to see more potato-based dishes on the menu. The entire team was incredibly helpful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place!

The setting at this place is absolutely amazing — charming, stylish, and full of character. The interior vibe is warm and inviting, and the outdoor patio is just as lovely. The staff were incredible: friendly, attentive, and welcoming. While I didn’t enjoy the vegan tacos, everything else about the experience made it a spot I’d still recommend, especially for the ambiance.

This is a delectable vegan Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is very inviting and a great place to hang out with friends and family. The service is excellent and the servers are very attentive. As for the food, it’s overall stellar. I only have a few pictures of all the foods that I’ve tried but I’ve been here so many times because it’s just that good. My favorite starter is the Queso Fundido. It’s a nice cheesy dip and has a little zing to it. I typically like to order the Oaxaca bowl as it’s a great combination of things with an extra crunch from the tortilla chips. On weekends for brunch, Crepes and French toast are great choices. They hit that sweet spot but don’t go crazy on it. A few points of critique are that I wish dishes with tortillas would have the option to be swapped with bolillo or have that as an option for an add on. I also think giving adding bolillos would be a great addition for expanding the menu. I would also personally not order the Sweet Potato Flautas (too sweet for me) or the Gracias Burger (taste is like a veggie/bean burger). My overall experience has been nothing short than tasty and I hope to keep trying new things at Gracias Madre.

It's been a minute since I visited my old stomping grounds but I had to represent when Dine LA came around. We dined in on late Friday luncheon outside the beautiful lush table setting. It was a beautiful day with wonderful company. We ordered to start the chips and guac and nachos for 1st course. Then my friend got the madre burger and I got the sweet potatoe flautas. Everything was amazing. My friend is a vegan and I was allergic to alot of food so it was nice to eat safely with no cross contamination. We even had dessert. The Olive Oil Chocolate Cake with coconut ice cream was bomb. Our amazing server Danny recommended it along with fan favorite IPAs and drinks. Thanks for the experience! Will be returning again!
